1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website and the photography and videography services provided by I&Y Photography (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Services

We provide professional photography and videography services as described on our website. This includes, but is not limited to, wedding photography, portrait sessions, family photography, maternity shoots, business photography, and love story sessions. Specific deliverables and timelines will be agreed upon at the time of booking.

3. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total fee is required to secure your booking. Your session date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the scheduled session date.
  • Prices are as listed on our website and are subject to change. However, once a booking is confirmed with a deposit, the agreed price will be honoured.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations

  • More than 14 days before the session: the deposit is retained, but no further charges apply.
  • Between 7 and 14 days before the session: 50% of the total fee is payable.
  • Less than 7 days before the session: the full fee applies.

Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling is free of charge provided at least 48 hours' notice is given, subject to availability.
  • Weather-dependent outdoor sessions will be rescheduled at no additional cost if conditions are unsuitable.

5. Image Delivery

  • Professionally edited images are typically delivered within 2–4 weeks of the session date.
  • Full wedding coverage may take 4–8 weeks for delivery.
  • All images are delivered via a secure online gallery.
  • The gallery will remain available for download for 60 days from the date of delivery.

7. Liability

  • We take all reasonable care with our equipment and the delivery of your images.
  • Our total liability is limited to the value of the services paid for.
  • We are not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, venue restrictions, or equipment failure.
  • For weddings, we recommend having a second photographer as backup coverage. This can be arranged at additional cost.

8. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate booking information at the time of enquiry.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled sessions.
  • Inform us of any relevant access requirements or health conditions that may affect the session.
  • Ensure that any necessary permissions are obtained for shooting at chosen locations.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Client information is never shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
